Sundial atau yang bisa diartikan juga sebagai jam matahari, adalah representasi dari pertanyaan yang seringkali membayangi kami perihal waktu. “Poros matahari selalu bergerak, tetapi sekarang sudah
bergerak sampai mana?” acap kali muncul di benak kami. Bukan untuk menyalahkan keadaan, namun untuk mengingatkan kami supaya mempertanggungjawabkan waktu yang dipunya.

Segala bentuk pemahaman, harapan hingga kegelisahan tentang waktu saat itu merundung, kami curahkan di lagu ini. Meskipun terasa kelam, kami belajar untuk sadar dan percaya bahwa bayangan matahari akan selalu mengarah ke waktu yang tepat. Pun perihal bergerak atau berhenti mengikuti arahan waktu, sepenuhnya akan selalu menjadi tanggung jawab masing-masing.
